DAYS KATHMANDU DELIGHT
An
introduction trip to the valley’s three cities which
as per the legend were laid out in the forms of sacred symbols.
Patan in the shape of a wheel, Bhaktapur as a conch shell,
and Kathmandu as Manjushri’s sword. In order to add
cream to this trip we have added a bit of hiking through
wonderful villages and as well as catching a glimpse of
the mountain view.
We
begin our tour with a trip to Bhaktapur the most isolated
and unchanged of the three former kingdoms. Bhaktapur is
one of Nepal’s greatest treasures.
We
spend the day Bhaktapur also known as the “city of
devotees” and then drive to Nagarkot, the small hill
top resort from where you will be able to view the big chunk
of Nepal’s eastern Himalaya.
Wake
up early morning to catch a fantastic view of sunrise over
the Himalayas - breakfast and then we prepare for hike to
Changu Narayan the superb pagoda temple, after Changu Narayan
we walk down to Sankhu, walk offers panoramic views of the
mountain, terraced fields and villages. From Sankhu we drive
to the capital of Nepal, Kathmandu a fascinating and exotic
city. We spend 2 full days exploring the best of Kathmandu
and Patan. We finish our trip with a farewell dinner and
cultural program.
