Everest Base Camp trek is one of the classic and most popular trekking trails in Nepal since the first expedition to the Mt. Everest from Nepali side. Everest base camp trekking trails falls in the Khumbu region of Nepal and can be approached from different direction with in a different time frame. Our 15 days program which is given below is a straight forward journey to the Base Camp of the highest peak of the world.
This 15 days Everest Base Camp trek involves a lot of steep ups-and-downs walk at high altitude, crossing the glacier but rewards you with the magnificent mountain views. Some of the great peaks that you will see during this trek are Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Nuptse and several other peaks besides the world’s highest Everest at 8,848 m. Everest base camp trek starts with an exciting 40 minutes mountain flight to Lukla (2,750 m) and then travels through several Sherpa villages, interesting monasteries finally ending up at the base camp (5,360 m) of the highest mountain in the world Mt. Everest. Close up view of Mt. Everest from Kala Pathar is just magnificent.
