Annapurna Base Camp or Annapurna Sanctuary trek is another beautiful trek in the Annapurna Region. This trek is to the sacred land of the native Gurung people, the abode of their gods. Annapurna Base Camp trek is graded moderate and it can be done in different time frame with various options.
Our 10 days program given below is a combination of Poon Hill with Annapurna Base Camp. The trek trail passes through variety of terrain from lowland villages, rice terraces to glacial moraine and provides a spectacular high mountain views. Annapurna Base Camp trek offers a fine opportunity to surround yourself with the Himalayan peaks in a short time, without having to contend with altitude and flight problems of the Everest Region. Annapurna Base Camp is surrounded by peaks like Annapurna, Gangapurna, Machhapuchhare and Hiunchuli.
The best time to visit Annapurna Base Camp is during the main trekking seasons of Spring and Autumn. This trek becomes more spectacular during spring as the whole forest along the trail turns colorful with red, pink and white rhododendron flowers.
